Caroline Ashland Villacampa
We chose Caroline after Nick’s mom, Carole. Her middle name is after the church where we were married, Ashland Place UMC. And we figured she should probably have our last name. 🙂
We love the name and Carole is honored to have a grandchild named after her. She was surprised and got a bit teary eyed when we revealed the name. We’ve had the middle name picked out for awhile (it was in the running for a middle name for Taylor) and were pretty sure on the first name. But we figured we should be 100% sure before we told Nick’s parents. Due to my Southern accent and Nick’s not-so-Southern accent, we’ll pronounce Caroline a bit different, but I’m ok with that.
I would say “we hope you like it” but really we’re ok if you don’t. 🙂
I like the name! Do you want to name our son? 🙂
I like it! And I like the reasons behind each name (including the last name!). I like Caroline Ashland better than Taylor Ashland. Taylor Elyse is too perfect. Of course, so is Caroline Ashland for your new one. Ramble, ramble…stop!
Ashland sounds unique for me… it’s really cute.
LOVE baby girl’s name! Beautiful.
You have really put a lot of thought into the names you chose for your children. Of course, I love the first name!! And we’re glad you’re keeping the last name the same. 🙂 I’m going to say “Caroline” like Robyn does.

Love, love it! I know she will be as beautiful as her big sis!
i LOVE it! in fact, caroline is at the top of my favorite baby names list, so don’t be offended if sometime in the distant future i name a little girl caroline too:) i love ashland… that’s so unique and sentimental. by the way, i also love elise, so we may have kids with varying degrees of the same name at some point 🙂
I love it! Caroline was one of our favorites as well. It is a beautiful name.
